a small silver lining

as many of you are no doubt aware, a fire has been tearing through southern Australia. I used to live in Canberra, which is not far from Victoria where the fires were, and still have some family there. But you don’t have to have any connection to some place to know how tragic the entire thing is.

and yet, even amidst all of the tragedy and loss of life, small miracles, like this story about a fireman, a koala, and her new friend, still manage to happen.
