Alex and Jay had originally planned on being in married in Vegas, but their plans changed with the news of not one, but two new arrivals! And so they decided to celebrate here among friends and family — Vegas would have to wait (but not for too long).
I met up with Alex early in the evening where she was getting ready under the protection of ever watchful eyes (see the first photo). As the Sens were sealing the deal on their ninth straight win on Hockey Day in Canada, friends and family would eventually make Bells Corners United a full house to witness Alex and Jay exchange vows. There was some time in between the ceremony and the reception, so I tagged along with them to check into their room at Arc the.Hotel, and then to McDonald’s for a quick bite. Cocktails and dance was at the Ottawa Police Association where we also did some portraits on their awesome staircase.
All in all, a great way to ease into the 2010 wedding season. Thanks for a great evening guys, here are a few faves:
