Leanne and Scott were married on a gorgeous July afternoon at the Garden House at Strathmere. Leanne looked absolutely stunning, and if Scott was nervous, you would never have known it – the boys kept the laughs coming and kept things lighthearted. The waiting though, for both of them – you could just feel the excited nervousness in them. When things got underway and those doors finally opened for Leanne to walk down the aisle – I don’t think either Scott or Leanne could describe how they were feeling. You could feel it in the air though.
The ceremony was short and sweet, but had plenty of laughs and plenty of tears. We spent picture time exploring around Strathmere. It’s a big, beautiful place but you know what they say – time flies…
The time rolled around for food, drink, wishes of everlasting love and happiness from friends and family, more tears, and more laughs, highlighted by a synopsis of Leanne and Scott’s story – one version of it anyway (and told in easily one of the most creative and well-executed best man speeches ever).
Leanne and Scott would give their own, different accounts later, but you really only need to see them together, or spend a few moments with them, to know that their story will continue on and on.
Congrats Leanne and Scott! and thank you for letting me tell a small piece of your story.
Check out their engagement shoots here and here, and here’s just a few of my faves from the wedding.
