Lindsay’s dad and Kyle’s dad have been friends since forever ago, so I imagine it must’ve felt like a bit of a twist of fate that the son and daughter of two close friends would eventually be married. On seeing some of their engagement photos, people have remarked to me about their youth. But after having gotten to know them a bit and after getting to hear the things people have to say about the two of them, it’s quite clear that their story is as timeless as anyone’s.
Lindsay and Kyle were married on a beautiful fall afternoon about an hour and a half outside of Ottawa in Iroquois. I spent some time with Kyle and the guys getting ready, and then headed out to meet up with the girls who were all set to go – now it was just a matter of waiting out the minutes… The ceremony at St. Cecilia’s filled the small church with plenty of laughter and plenty of tears.
Afterwards, we headed to the Iroquois golf club for photos but the sun was going down in a hurry and it was getting cold fast. With the sun below the horizon, I found some light at the clubhouse and then we set off for the reception in Morrisburg for dinner and dance.
