They were the first ones there.
That might not sound unusual but think about it for a second. Usually, the bride is the very last person to show up. Usually, the groom doesn’t see her until the ceremony gets underway. Usually, the bride and groom aren’t together greeting and mingling with guests before the ceremony. But when people heard they even arrived together, I guess they just figured ‘well, that’s Lisa and Cezar’. They were getting married their way.
And so it was, on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in September with their closest family and friends, Lisa and Cezar were married at the Rockcliffe Park Pavillion; dinner and dance (and one hell of an entertaining serenade) were at the Ottawa Rowing Club (easily one of the best places in the city to catch the sunset).
Congrats Lisa and Cezar! It was such a pleasure being part of your day.
