I met up with Mirella and Phil on what started out as a somewhat chilly late afternoon, downtown for the last day of the tulip festival. We started out taking a walk through Major’s Hill Park to take in some of the vintage carnival. It was pretty busy on the hill – as I expected – so it was nice to get some quiet time walking around the National Gallery. Of course, we paid a visit to Maman – the Gallery’s pet spider – then headed out back to walk up to Nepean Point.
We came back down from the lookout and the crowds had dissipated enough to take some shots with the tulips – how could I resist? All in all – a great way to spend a couple of hours on a long weekend monday.
Here are just a few of my favourites – thanks for a great shoot guys – looking forward to August!

is it just me, or is there a heart between their silhouettes?
